Chris Carter (Guitar/Vocals) started playing guitar at sixteen, after years of obsessive music listening in his hometown of Enterprise, Alabama. "I was always a rabid listener - my uncle was a disc jockey, and would send me boxes of old '45's that were too worn out for the station to use anymore. I would pour over those stacks of records, listening to every one of them over and over. I was into everything - rock, soul, blues, jazz, funk, whatever I could get my hands on. After years of this, I began to feel the desire to make music of my own, to play an instrument. I was drawn to the guitar because of the coolness of it, not to mention the enormous noise-making potential!"

Initially inspired by bands such as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Thin
Lizzy and Rush, Chris practiced relentlessly and began jamming with local musicians. After accepting an engineering scholarship from the University of Florida, he soon found himself playing his very first gig at a roadhouse juke joint outside of Stark, Florida. "The bar served as a watering hole for all the prison guards who worked at the nearby state penitentiary, and the stage was surrounded by chicken coop wire, just like in the Blues Brothers movie. I was hooked on performing from that moment on!" Chris eventually left the university and made his way to Los Angeles, California, where he enrolled at Musician's Institute. "I was self-taught up to that point, so I loved learning from the great teachers there. I learned how to read, how to play jazz, all kinds of great stuff."

After graduation, Chris began playing professionally, first in Los Angeles, then later working out of Orlando, Florida and Nashville, Tennessee. Playing everything from country to hard-rock in a variety of bands, Chris also developed into a powerful vocalist, and grew into a prolific songwriter as well.

In 1997, he relocated to New York City, and in 1998 he recorded a solo album, titled "Sweet Dream". Chris performed throughout the country following the release of the record, then returned to his home in Brooklyn, where he co-wrote a rock musical and took a hiatus from performing. "During this time, I began yearning to find a great rock 'n roll band with great songs - who might happen to need a guitarist!" His prayers were answered when he met Eric Stuart, and Chris couldn't be happier. "I love how this band connects on all the right levels - music, attitude, everything. It's going to be a blast when we come to your town --- guaranteed!"
